Tutoring
We are excited and happy to offer tutoring to our Jenkins 7th and 8th Grade students before school at Doherty! Please review the below information about our sign-up expectations and student expectations at tutoring. There is no tutoring offered for 6th grade students at this time.
Sign-up Expectations and Information
Tutoring is available Monday-Thursday from 7:45AM-8:45AM in Room 219. The sign-up is for one month at a time so you can plan ahead for which days your student can attend.
There are 16 spots available each day. You may sign up your child for 1 day per week. Any duplicate sign-ups will be deleted and you will be notified by email.
When completing the sign up, for the name put your child's name, parent/guardian email for the email address, and list what subjects your child will be working on.
If a student continually misses the tutoring session that he/she was signed up for, the student will not have the opportunity to sign-up again for designated time period.

Student Expectations at Tutoring
Be ready to share with the tutors what subject you need support in and/or what assignments you will be completing.
Cell phones need to remain in backpacks during tutoring unless they are being contacted by a parent/guardian or calling a parent/guardian.
Behavior expectations are the same as the ones that are in place during the school day.
Parents/Guardians will be contacted if student behavior is unacceptable.
