Temporary Relocation/Renovations
What's New:
The site is full of activity as we wrap up June, and this week brought both hands-on learning for Engineering and Construction Camp students and major construction milestones. Read more in our Construction Update Newsletter.
As a reminder, 8th grade students who qualify for transportation will be picked up in their neighborhoods and taken directly to Doherty High School, while 6th and 7th grade students will be transported directly to Jenkins. This transportation plan includes all students living on Peterson Space Force Base. Final route details are still being confirmed and will be communicated as soon as they are ready.
Estimated Timeline:
JULY 7:
Interior demo is scheduled to begin in the 7th and 8th grade wing.
JULY 21:
Flooring and painting completed in the Admin suite and 6th grade wing.
JULY 21-AUG 1:
Staff will begin moving back into the building in phases.
AUG 21:
Steering Committee meeting - Design and construction progress review.
