Tutoring

We are excited to offer tutoring to our Jenkins students! 

Locations  

Before school at Doherty T/W/Th 7:30-8:30am 

After school at Jenkins T/W/Th 3:45-4:45pm 

Please review the below information about sign-up and student expectations at tutoring.   

Sign-up Information 

The sign-up is for about one month at a time so you can plan ahead for which days your student can attend. 

There are 20 morning and 20 afternoon spots available each day, depending on need. 

Parents will have to provide transportation to Doherty for the morning session and from Jenkins for the afternoon session. Students can ride the regular bus to either campus. 

When completing the sign up, for the name put your child's name, parent/guardian email for the email address, and list what subjects your child will be working on. 

If a student continually misses the tutoring session that he/she was signed up for, the student will not have the opportunity to sign-up again for designated time period.

Student Expectations at Tutoring

Be ready to open up PowerSchool and share with your tutor what subject you need support in and/or what assignments you will be completing. 

Cell phones need to remain in Yondr pouches during tutoring unless they are being contacted by a parent/guardian or calling a parent/guardian. 

Behavior expectations are the same as the ones that are in place during the school day. 

Parents/Guardians will be contacted if student behavior is unacceptable.
